The CGCA is able to make grants to cover 50% of the cost of the course for new Level 2 coaches. Please apply by e-mail to Andy R. If demand outstrips supply we will prioritise by (a) small clubs first and (b) limiting number of grants per club. Grants are only paid on successful completion, so we need to see the certificate, but please put in bids now, pending course completion.

STATEMENT ON DATA PROTECTION: The CGCA only holds personal data on members of the committee. We obtain contact information, when it is needed, from each club's play-cricket website. Relevant contact information obtained in this way is passed to other clubs involved in CGCA competitions. That information is not then retained by us after use. The CGCA will not otherwise pass personal data to any other organisation or person.

The Cheltenham & Gloucester Cricket Association (CGCA) organises cricket for adults and youth in league and cup competition formats in the Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury areas. It supports clubs in these areas in practical ways, e.g. grants for training youth coaches.

We are very pleased to announce that to honour the memory of Arthur Bailey, who was a driving force in the Cheltenham District
Cricket Association and in many other areas of local cricket, the Challenge Cup will now be known as the
Arthur Bailey Challenge Cup
